We are pleased to offer an online option for staff working on transportation issues and state and local government to join the Mobility COE Workshop in Washington, DC. We welcome your participation if you work for a city, county, state, MPO, transit agency, campus transportation department, or similar transportation authority.
The Mobility Center of Excellence is hosting an in-person roundtable for local government stakeholders to discuss how new mobility innovations are reshaping cities and how automated vehicles may reshape cities.
The program will feature
- a discussion with FHWA Acting Administrator Kristin White discussing the federal policy agenda and funding opportunities for new mobility and automated vehicles
- An informative session led by NACTO on regulatory experiences with new mobility and micromobility, with speakers from Seattle, Austin, and Washington DC.
- A session led by the Open Mobility Foundation on data communications between cities and connected, automated vehicles
- Two facilitated, roundtable discussions on:
- New Mobility & Micromobility Retrospective (10:30 AM – 12:00 PM EDT)
- CAVs in Cities Prospective (1:00 PM – 2:15 PM EDT)
